I like that Peter is showing that most of the people in the US are normal and not these crazy people that the media shows.

As a Vietnamese American whose family and parents fled communism after the war. I feel like Cuban Americans would understand us the most. We are the Cubans of California and they are the Vietnamese of Florida. I love the Cuban American stories, I feel that connection.

As an American who’s family came here from Italy and Ireland in the 1800s, I really love the Cuban attitude and culture in the states. Amazing group of people.

Im a Cuban who lives in Hialeah and this is an excellent documentary type video on this city. A lesson to all Americans don’t fall down the path of tyranny. Pursue hard work so that way we won’t need to leave again.

The man in the red checkered shirt (Teo) was dropping some truth bombs. Really enjoy the raw experiences you share through your videos Peter!

Great video. As a Navy vet of 22 years I was very involved in the Mario boat lift 1980. Cubans have a tremendous spirit. Much respect 💕🕵🏼‍♀️🇺🇸 🇨🇺

These people who escaped communism need to be speaking in the schools to stop the indoctrination.

Having born in Vietnam, Teo was spitting the truth. People who have an opportunity to leave the socialist and communist systems to come to America love this country. Come to Little Saigon in California to do a video!

The Trump sign in Chico's says it all. 'The unemployment rate in Hialeah is very low' Cuban-Americans cannot be fooled.

I was born in USSR........socialism SUCKS, we RAN from it !!!! It is a dream of the lazy and entitled, where one class dominates the other, services suck, full government control, people loose their basic freedoms, services decline, nobody cares for any quality etc etc....

Loving this South Florida series! 20+ years living here you meet so many people from different cultures, everyone adopts a little bit from each other this is truly a melting pot.

The kid in the first part of Video has the BEST comment. "Over there you work and work and they keep the money. Here you work and work and you get to keep your money." Best/ simplest description of socialism I've heard.

I'm from Miami. Grew up all over Dade and Broward county, Hialeah included. The Cuban people there are some of the most patriotic Americans I've ever experienced, and I've traveled extensively around the country once I became an adult.

Thanks for showcasing Miami, in a real light. Many people have no idea, how diverse the city is of Miami... not many cities like it, anywhere.

What a beautiful video! I don't think you see homeless people because Cubans didn't come with the goal to be homeless. They are here with a mission. They came here with the goal to work. I love that mission. 💖🇨🇺

I grew up in Miami mostly in the 1960s and 1970s. I left in the mid-1980s. When I was in elementary school in the 60s, is when the main influx of Cubans took place. Those tended to be educated Cubans. They were smart enough to figure out their best bet for getting ahead was t…

Having lived in Miami, South Beach and Coral Gables I quickly learned that it's a city/metro area that people stay out until dawn. The neighborhoods come alive in the early afternoons (hence why not many were out and about after your breakfast).
