As a native Northern California for 61 years, and I mean northern California, I find your content these last few weeks very special to my heart. Thank you Peter.
i love how the sacred water comes out of a PVC pipe. 😁
No bias. Just a guy talking with folks from all walks of life. Love it, thank you Peter.
Peters ability to just not talk and stay quiet, letting the person tell their story is so impressive. Exactly how videos like this should be done. 10/10 Peter keep up the awesome work!
I lost my dad to Non Hodgkins Lymphoma on Christmas day. I'm broken inside, and still mourning. Yet this video was oddly calming in its own way. Lots of people with soothing voices and offbeat beliefs.
Peter I think the guy showing you around may be by far the coolest. You can tell he is full of kindness. May all of his dreams manifest.
My daughter became a Traveler at 19 and ended up in Mt. Shasta after traveling all over. At 29 - same age as Bryson - she’s still there, the mountain calls to her to come back if she stays away too long. Everything in this video is exactly like it’s been explained to me. What is …
As a Norwegian, this this channel has taught me so much about american culture. You wont get this anywhere else! Thank you so much Peter for making these incredible videos!
This is real journalism. Not two people sitting in a room with lights and cameras having a scripted interview lol. The fact that we get to watch these videos totally free on YouTube without having to pay for cable to get it? Priceless. I have learned more from watching your video…
THAT’S OUR FIRST BUS!! My husband and I built out THIS bus from 2018-2019, and traveled with it some in 2020 before selling it to do a van. We now live in another skoolie we built out in 2023. The outside looks the same, inside looks different. Great to see it traveling and helpi…
The young man you were interviewing seems like a genuinely nice dude, he's a also got so much knowledge and knows how to flow, and he just has so much in his head that he can. I quite enjoyed this one, not only because you have great content, but he was such a great person to int…
The fact that we get free videos on YouTube by Mr Santenello is truly a gift. 👏👏👏
I hope this guy makes it. I see a guy that could contribute a lot but the economics situation got him trapped. Keep going young man, don't let it grind you down.

Bryson is the BOMB!!! A truly intelligent, insightful man with integrity and no ego. Wow. We need more like him!!
Peter does such a great job in sharing people’s stories and trying to understand them in a respectful way. This style of journalism is truly unique.
I would love to see a Mt. Shasta “Part Two” that also includes a focus on the Native Americans’ relationship with the mountain.
This guy is very well spoken and smart. I learned a lot listening to him speak. His parents should be proud of him. He’s a respectful young man.
I’m a native Northern Californian and I found your videos as I was recovering from some health issues. I have to say your channel is on the top of my favorite channels. You do such a great job because you just let people be themselves and tell their stories and opinions in a very…
I love how quiet you are Peter when the people are speaking, giving you their story, their perspective. Your very respectful and you allow them to open up so we can understand them. Thank you
Crazy just arrived on Shasta a few hours ago, watching this on the mountain right now, thank you
I really respect this young man when he said he wants to get stable. He wants to feed himself with his own money. Very goal oriented and very humble. I wish him well in his future!
Man, I'm from Sweden. Never visited USA. Never wanted to until I saw your videos. So many great places and people. Would love to drive around to places movies and media never show us. Amazing!
Your wife is beautiful and such a delight to see her on camera too. PETER, I am oglala Lakota and Assinibione Sioux. My rez is Fort Peck up in NE Montana. I.want you to know how much my family and I enjoy your videos and your wonderful, open, non judgemental heart you approach pe…
I was homeless for a minute in the climbing community and the long hug Morgan gave Billy while y'all were saying bye really hit me hard for some reason. When you're living like that, you hug your friends different. You appreciate the quiet moments with them different. Human conne…
They block off the camping area because people leave garbage and shit everywhere. Thanks spirit people!!
I’m Shasta and karuk Indian would love to have my uncle frank tell you all kinds of stories of the mountain
Reading some of these comments and it’s clear to me that this channel is where the realest people reside.
Thanks so much for this one, Peter. I used to get the best advice from the Buddhist Monastery on Mt.Shasta. The monks and nuns were great. Mt.Shasta was called the Holy Mountain by the Indians. Beautiful country.
"Words are made by spelling. You spell words and you cast spells. Words are magic." Great orators have always known the power of the spoken word and musicians , the power of a lyric, but i do not think i have ever heard it put so eloquently. Very interesting and thought provoking…
These people are so much more interesting than the corporate types I spend all day with. They don't as much more money or formal eduction but so much more authentic and kind.
The main thing I love about this channel (which is honestly my #1 YT channel) is that Peter lets his subjects speak for themselves. His authenticity allows him (and us) access to incredibly interesting people, and his humility allows them to say what they want to say, and us view…
Man, Bryson should be a shasta tour guide for people into the "weird stuff". He's a super interesting and knowledgeable guy.
I used to live in Shasta County in between Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen. I lived primarily off the land for one year and worked on a ranch for two years and still lived off the land. I could see both MountShasta and Lassen peak. I could tell what the weather was going to be by t…
As an ex-deli manager at Grocery Outlet in Ukiah (Northern Ca) I can attest to the fact that Grocery Outlet there has some of the best specialty cheeses and one of the best wine selections I've ever seen. PS I also live out of my Yukon XL and am traveling about Northern Ca. Curr…
That was a great answer. Q: "What do you do Sparrow?" A: "I do whatever it takes. Do you need something done?"
About a decade ago I left my Job in the aerospace industry up in Seattle to go back to Arizona and save my marriage. I left Seattle under a full bright moon at 2 A.M. heading south, when I got to Portland the clear sky was gone and it started pouring rain like a waterfall. I drov…
The people you met during your visit to Mount Shasta actually put me in a very peaceful place while watching.. I have seen many of yourvideos, but have not felt that inner peace like I did with this group! They are truly special! Thank you for introducting them!
