ENThey really look down on Thai people. I work for a top global company in the US. They had Singapore do a survey about Thais. The conclusion was very negative about Thais. Thais don't follow up after 8 hours, go home, lazy, dishonest, cheat, good at not listening to others. My company was thinking of opening an office in Thailand, hiring designers with salaries no less than 100,000 baht per person, about 20 people. In the end, they didn't go. The Singaporeans in my company in America see Thais as servants. They talk in a way that says do anything, many have to sleep with the boss. It's a shame that Thai companies make huge profits but don't share with employees. Unlike the US, I design here, my salary is now 500,000 Thai baht per month, which is considered very high. But in Thailand, I don't think it reaches 100,000, maybe just 40-50,000 baht.
