@ken there is an airport fee for the taxis/grabs. so you pay that on top of your fare, which is what he was saying. its the same in Saigon airport. The fee he wanted was 20,000 dong for the airport charge.

What guy mean was the taxi cost about 200k. Some Vietnamese show their money to show that’s how much you need to pay.

We stayed here in March for two weeks, the Grand Mercure was outstanding,the Hilton in the city was a let down. The beach was nowhere near as overcrowded as European beaches and the vibe was always relaxed. I would say it’s really safe, generally clean and the people are amazing.…show more

Most foreign tourists in Da Nang are actually other Asians like South Koreans, Chinese, Japanese etc. Not westerners. But a lot of them will blend in with the locals so you may mistake them for domestic tourists ;)

This is not the Da Nang Hilton, 5 *, which is very centric to the covered market and Dragon Bridge, and the night market at the tail end of the bridge. It's the budget Hilton Garden Inn, which is far off anything....

Their boutique hotels are amazing.
